An embarrassing situation unfolded on a recent SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru when a passenger was stuck inside the plane’s lavatory throughout the flight. After the flight took off with a delay, the passenger entered the restroom and found themselves unable to exit due to a faulty lock. The crew tried to resolve the issue, but when they were unable to, they communicated with the trapped passenger by sliding a handwritten note under the door, urging them to remain calm and stay put until the plane landed. This unusual incident and the note itself generated considerable buzz online. After the flight landed, the door was opened by ground staff. The airline has expressed its apologies and offered compensation to the passenger.
