A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru turned into an unforgettable experience for one passenger. The passenger was stuck inside the aircraft’s restroom for the entire duration of the flight after the door jammed. The crew tried unsuccessfully to open the door. To offer support and to maintain the passenger’s calmness, the crew handed a written note asking the passenger to stay seated inside the toilet until the flight landed. The incident, which occurred on a flight that was delayed, led to considerable amusement among social media users, with many highlighting the crew’s handwriting. After the plane landed in Bengaluru, ground staff were able to open the door. SpiceJet has expressed its regret and apologized to the passenger for the ordeal.
