A passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru was locked in the airplane’s restroom for the entire flight. The incident occurred due to a malfunctioning door lock. The airline apologized to the passenger and reportedly offered a refund for the distress caused. The flight was delayed by two hours, departing from Mumbai at 2:10 AM. After takeoff, the passenger in seat 14D found themselves unable to open the restroom door. Despite efforts by the crew to unlock it, the door remained jammed. The crew responded by writing a note, slipped under the door, urging the passenger to remain calm and seated until landing. The flight landed in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM, and the door was subsequently opened by ground staff. The event triggered widespread reactions on social media, with the crew’s note becoming a popular talking point.
