The airline has offered an apology and a refund to the affected individual. The incident occurred on Monday night, with the flight departing from Mumbai with a two-hour delay, taking off at 2:10 AM. A passenger, seated in seat 14D, entered the restroom shortly after takeoff but was unable to exit due to a jammed door lock. The crew’s attempts to resolve the issue were unsuccessful. As a result, the crew slipped a handwritten note under the door, advising the passenger to stay seated on the toilet until the plane landed in Bengaluru. The plane touched down in Bengaluru at approximately 3:45 AM. Following the landing, airport engineers opened the door. The incident and the crew’s note quickly became a source of online amusement.
