The introduction of GST 2.0 on September 22nd, coinciding with the Navaratri festivities, brings exciting news for SUV buyers. With the implementation of these reforms, several popular SUV models, including the Honda Elevate, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos, are becoming more affordable. This article provides an overview of the discounts available on various SUVs.
Honda Elevate:
Honda Cars India is extending festive discounts across its entire model range. The Elevate SUV is the highlight, with the ZX trim receiving discounts up to ₹1.22 lakh. The VX trim gets a ₹78,000 festive discount, while the V trim gets benefits up to ₹58,000. The SV trim is excluded from the offers. Post-GST 2.0 implementation, the Honda Elevate’s price has decreased by a maximum of ₹57,500.
MG Hector:
MG Motor India is offering deals on select variants of the Hector and Astor SUVs. The MG Hector Sharp Pro MT, a high-specification variant, now comes with benefits up to ₹1.88 lakh. This offer includes a GST benefit of up to ₹1.49 lakh, resulting in an ex-showroom price reduction from ₹21.13 lakh to ₹18.99 lakh.
Kia Seltos:
Kia is providing discounts on selected models, with the Seltos seeing the most significant savings on its ex-showroom price, up to ₹1.75 lakh. This limited offer includes pre-GST benefits up to ₹58,000, as well as festive season benefits up to ₹1.17 lakh. This has lowered the SUV’s ex-showroom price from ₹11.18 lakh to ₹9.43 lakh.
Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo:
Mahindra has announced GST benefits on its entire SUV lineup, along with additional festive discounts. The Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo are offering the most substantial discounts, reaching up to ₹2.56 lakh. The benefits include a GST saving of ₹1.27 lakh on the ex-showroom price and additional benefits of up to ₹1.29 lakh. The Bolero range now starts at ₹8.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
