
Tata Motors is enhancing its highly acclaimed Nexon SUV by introducing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies. This significant update builds upon the Nexon’s impressive safety credentials, as it proudly holds the distinction of being the first Indian car to achieve dual 5-star safety ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP. The integration of ADAS promises to elevate the driving experience by offering advanced alerts and automated interventions, further securing its position as a leader in vehicle safety.
Complementing the technological advancements, Tata has also rolled out the striking Nexon Red Dark Edition. This new special edition is available across its petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrain configurations, reflecting the model’s versatility. With an ex-showroom price point beginning at Rs 12.44 lakh, the Red Dark Edition offers a visually appealing and feature-rich package, showcasing Tata Motors’ commitment to delivering stylish, safe, and performant vehicles to the Indian market.
The newly integrated ADAS features are designed to provide an extra layer of protection and convenience for drivers. Key functions include Forward Collision Warning (FCW) for anticipating potential impacts, and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) which can automatically apply the brakes. Drivers also benefit from Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Centering System (LCS) to stay within their lane, Lane Keep Assist (LKA) for gentle steering adjustments, High Beam Assist (HBA) for optimized night driving, and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) to ensure awareness of road signs.
