Tesla is reinforcing its position in the Indian electric vehicle market with plans to open its second retail centre. The new Tesla Experience Centre will be unveiled on August 11 in Delhi’s Aerocity, at the WorldMark 3 campus. This location aims to serve customers in the National Capital Region, a pivotal hub for India’s EV growth. The upcoming centre follows the recent opening of Tesla’s inaugural showroom at the Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai on July 15th. The Mumbai launch was graced by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who welcomed Tesla’s arrival and extended an invitation to set up R&D and manufacturing units. The Aerocity centre is in its final stages of construction, with an estimated monthly rent of approximately Rs 25 lakh. Previews of the store on social media showcase Tesla’s premium branding. Presently, Tesla offers only one model in India: the Model Y, which is available starting at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
