
Tesla is progressing its plans for expansion in India. Following the opening of its initial showroom in Mumbai, the company is set to launch its second showroom. This new showroom will be in Delhi. Invitations have been sent for the opening, which is scheduled for next week. Tesla opened its first experience center, along with its first charging station, in Mumbai approximately a month ago. Now, the focus is on expanding services to Delhi.
Where Will the Delhi Tesla Showroom Be Located?
Reports from Moneycontrol indicate that Tesla, under the leadership of Elon Musk, has started sending out invitations for the second showroom’s opening in New Delhi. The opening date is expected to be August 11. The Tesla Experience Center will be within the Worldmark 3 building in Aerocity, near the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
A recent YouTube post by Utsav Techie revealed images of the construction site for the Tesla Experience Center in New Delhi. The photos showed a white interior and glass doors, however, there has been no official announcement from Tesla about the showroom’s opening date or location.
Tesla Cars in India
The Model Y is currently offered to consumers in the Indian market and has two RWD (60kWh/75kWh) variants. The 60kWh model offers up to 500 kilometers on a single charge and costs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The RWD (75kWh) variant offers a range of 622 kilometers on a full charge but is priced at 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Delivery of the RWD Model Y is planned for Q3 2025, while the long-range variant is scheduled to be delivered in Q4 2025.
