
Tesla is continuing its aggressive expansion strategy in India with plans to open a third showroom, following launches in Delhi and Mumbai. The focus is now on Gurugram, where Tesla India Motor & Energy Private Limited has leased a large commercial space at Orchid Business Park on Sohna Road. The lease agreement encompasses around 51,000 square feet of built-up area, with the initial monthly rent set at ₹40.17 lakhs for a nine-year term. This facility, which includes a service center, warehouse, and retail outlet, comprises a 33,475 square feet chargeable area. The lease, which was registered on July 28, 2025, follows a similar structure to Tesla’s Mumbai lease, offering an initial rent of ₹120 per square foot with an annual escalation of 4.75%.
