A Range Rover SUV was seized by the Jammu and Kashmir traffic police on Tuesday. The vehicle was transporting Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar from the Jammu airport to a location near the Kalyan Jewelers showroom. The Chandigarh-registered SUV was stopped at Dogra Chowk by a traffic police officer due to its tinted windows. Akshay Kumar was not present in the vehicle when it was stopped. Traffic police officials clarified that the law applies equally to everyone. The owner of the vehicle will need to remove the illegal window tinting and pay a fine to get the SUV back. The Supreme Court has set visibility standards for car windows, mandating at least 70% visibility for front and rear windows and 50% visibility for side windows. Failure to comply with these standards is a legal violation, potentially resulting in fines from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000. In other news, the teaser for Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s film, Jolly LLB 3, has been released, showcasing the film’s storyline.
