Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav escaped injury in an accident near Goraul in Vaishali district on Saturday morning. While returning from a political rally in Madhepura, a speeding truck hit two vehicles in his convoy on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway. The convoy had halted for a tea break when the incident took place. Yadav, who was nearby, was unharmed. However, three security personnel were injured in the crash and were immediately taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was arrested by the police. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, with reports suggesting speeding or driver fatigue as possible factors. The incident has prompted discussion about the safety of political figures and the need for enhanced road safety measures in Bihar, especially during nighttime travel. RJD members and others have expressed concern and called for greater vigilance and improved road infrastructure.
