A groom from Madhya Pradesh was victimized in a wedding scam in Sasaram, Bihar. The groom, who traveled to Bihar to marry, was cheated by a fake bride and her accomplices. The plan was arranged through a broker for ₹2.5 lakhs. After the fake wedding ceremony, the bride and her fake family members escaped with the groom’s money, jewelry, and gifts. The police are currently investigating the case.
The groom, identified as Monu Raj Shivhare, had arranged to marry Kajal Kumari. The fraudulent wedding was performed in a Dharamshala room in Sasaram by a fake priest. The bride and her fake family disappeared with ₹2.5 lakhs after the ceremony. The police have taken one of the suspects into custody for interrogation.
