Chirag Paswan has announced that he will contest the Bihar Assembly elections from all 243 seats. During a public address, he stated that he would be fighting ‘for Bihar’. Paswan said that his main aim is to bolster the NDA’s position in the state. He also criticized the RJD and Congress, holding them responsible for the ‘jungle raj’. Paswan also commented on Rahul Gandhi’s claims about the Election Commission. Earlier, Paswan said that whether he contests the election or not will be decided by his party’s parliamentary board. He also clarified that he has no ambitions for the Chief Minister’s post.
