
In a shocking incident in Patna, Bihar, a car ran over three police officers during a vehicle check, resulting in the death of a female constable. Two other officers sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital. The police quickly apprehended the two individuals involved. They confessed that they intentionally drove into the officers.
The incident took place on Wednesday at Patna’s Atal Path, where a vehicle inspection was underway. When police signaled a Scorpio car to stop, the driver instead hit three police officers. SI Deepak Mani, ASI Avdhesh Kumar, and Constable Komal from the SK Puri police station were seriously injured in the incident.
The injured officers were immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Constable Komal was pronounced dead upon arrival. After receiving information about the incident, Patna SSP Avakash Kumar rushed to the scene and arrested the two suspects. The arrested individuals are property dealers Nikhil, Ankit, and Kuldeep. Another suspect named Raja is still at large. Nikhil and Ankit were arrested immediately after the incident.
Kuldeep was arrested the next day. The Scorpio car was driven by property dealer Nikhil, who also owns the car. The police investigation revealed that Nikhil and Ankit were frustrated with frequent vehicle checks on JP Ganga Path and admitted that this was their motivation for the act.
