Sonakshi Sinha, who commenced her Bollywood career with the successful film ‘Dabangg,’ enjoyed early recognition. However, her career included many movies that underperformed. In contrast, Arjun Kapoor, despite starting in 2012, has not had a significant breakthrough. The two actors have appeared together in a film that was a major failure, failing even to recover its investment.
The film, ‘Tevor,’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, was released on January 9, 2015. Amit Sharma directed the movie, which cost 45 crore rupees to produce. The film had a promising start, with around 7 crore rupees earned on its first day, and a slightly higher figure on the subsequent two days. Despite this, ‘Tevor’ did not perform well. The Indian box office collections totaled 39 crore rupees.
Arjun Kapoor’s filmography includes ‘Ki & Ka,’ ‘Panipat,’ ‘Namaste England,’ ‘Half Girlfriend,’ ‘Gunday,’ ‘Aurangzeb,’ and ‘2 States.’ Sonakshi Sinha has starred in ‘Son of Sardaar,’ ‘Rowdy Rathore,’ ‘Mission Mangal,’ ‘Dabangg 3,’ ‘Kalank,’ ‘Noor,’ ‘Akira,’ ‘R… Rajkumar,’ and ‘Lootera.’
