
Filmmaker Samir Karnik commemorates the 21st anniversary of his debut film, ‘Kyun! Ho Gaya Na,’ offering insights into its creation. Karnik reveals the film as his ‘first born child,’ recalling his early days in Mumbai with a script. The film offered him the chance to collaborate with renowned actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. He describes his memorable encounter with Amitabh Bachchan and the joy of hearing the legend agree to be in his film. Working with Aishwarya Rai was a great experience, and he speaks about the music composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, and the lyrics by Javed Akhtar. He also acknowledges the support he received from Suniel Shetty, the late Om Puri, Tinu Anand and producer Boney Kapoor. He emphasizes the importance of belief and hard work in achieving dreams, drawing parallels to the journey of making the film.
