Aamir Khan’s upcoming film, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ is generating significant excitement among fans. The movie, marking his first project after ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in 2022, is scheduled to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
The cast includes Aamir Khan and Genelia D’souza in the lead roles, with a supporting cast comprising Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, Aayush Bhansali, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala, Zeenat Hussain and Nikhat Khan.
The film’s narrative is inspired by the 2018 Spanish film ‘Champions.’ It tells the story of a suspended basketball coach who undertakes community service by training a basketball team of players with disabilities for a tournament.
Moviegoers can purchase tickets through platforms such as BookMyShow and other online ticketing services.
Reports suggest that Aamir Khan is planning to bypass a traditional OTT release, instead choosing a pay-per-view model, where viewers pay a specific fee to watch the film. This decision could favor the theatrical experience and offer greater financial advantages to the production team.
Recent reports indicate that Aamir Khan declined a Rs 120 crore offer from Amazon Prime Video for the digital distribution rights of the film.
