
Netflix is set to release the romantic drama ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ on July 11. The film will star R. Madhavan as a reserved Sanskrit teacher and Fatima Sana Shaikh as a free-spirited French instructor, whose lives unexpectedly intersect. The story promises an exploration of love across generations.
The promotional poster showcases Madhavan and Fatima together, sitting on a bench and looking at each other. The accompanying text reads: “This romcom has been waiting for Aap Jaisa Koi Watch Madhavan and Fatima find love in Aap Jaisa Koi, out 11 July, only on Netflix.”
Vivek Soni, known for directing ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’, is the director of the film. He describes ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ as a film that challenges the walls we build around ourselves and embraces the vulnerability of love. He expresses his pleasure in presenting a tender and intimate love story, one that acknowledges vulnerability while maintaining its charm. The film examines the roles people assume in relationships and the quiet bravery it takes to allow someone to come into your life.
