Anushka Sharma’s recent film ‘Bombay Velvet’ was a major flop, resulting in a significant financial loss for its producers. The film, which was released ten years ago, starred Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor in leading roles. The film was made on a hefty budget of 118 crore rupees. However, it failed miserably at the box office. Its opening day collection was only five crore rupees. The film’s total earnings in India amounted to 23.71 crore rupees. This resulted in a loss of over 94 crore rupees for the filmmakers. The movie was directed by Anurag Kashyap and also featured Karan Johar, KK Menon, Satyadeep Mishra, and Manish Chaudhary in pivotal roles.
