Ayesha Khan, a veteran actress from Pakistan, has been found dead in her Karachi residence. The 76-year-old actress was discovered in her apartment in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7, approximately a week after her death. According to reports, Khan had been living in seclusion for several years. Neighbors alerted the authorities after noticing an unpleasant smell coming from her home. Police discovered her body and transported it to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem to investigate the cause and time of death. The body was subsequently moved to the Edhi Foundation’s mortuary in Sohrab Goth. Ayesha Khan was a significant figure in Pakistani television during its prime and was the elder sister of actress Khalida Riyasat. She was known for her roles in several television dramas and films.
