With the ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc’ movie poised to release in India, fans are eager to revisit the story. The following provides a recap of the key events leading up to the film.
**Season 1: The Beginning** Tanjiro Kamado, after his family’s murder and his sister Nezuko’s transformation into a demon, enters the Demon Slayer Corps. He trains rigorously, passes the Final Selection, and begins hunting demons. He forms bonds with Zenitsu and Inosuke, and directly confronts Muzan Kibutsuji. He battles and overcomes the demon Rui, with Nezuko’s help.
**Mugen Train Movie: A Battle on Rails** Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke join the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, aboard the Mugen Train to fight a demon. Kyojuro defeats several demons, but everyone falls into a deep sleep due to Enmu. Enmu’s attempt to destroy Tanjiro, Kyojuro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke fails, but then Upper Rank Three Akaza appears. During their intense battle, Kyojuro is fatally wounded.
**Swordsmith Village Arc: Hidden Village, Powerful Foes** Tanjiro and Nezuko go to the Swordsmith Village to get his sword repaired. They encounter the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. He finds a century-old sword. The village is later attacked by the powerful demons Gyokko (Upper Rank 5) and Hantengu (Upper Rank 4). Tanjiro, along with the two Hashiras and Genya, is able to defeat the demons after a tough battle. Nezuko gains the ability to withstand the sunlight.
**Hashira Training Arc: Preparations for the Future** The Hashira Training Arc introduces various Hashiras and their abilities. Viewers learn more about Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.
