A violent confrontation stemming from a parking disagreement in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area has resulted in the death of Asif Qureshi, the cousin of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. The incident took place on Thursday night around 11 PM in Jangpura Bhogal Lane, as confirmed by police officials. The altercation began over the parking of a two-wheeler near a residential property, involving Asif and several other individuals. The dispute quickly turned physical, with Asif being attacked. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he died from his injuries. Asif’s wife and relatives have claimed that the attack was excessively violent, stemming from a relatively minor disagreement. Sainaz Qureshi, Asif’s wife, shared with the police that previous disputes had occurred between her husband and the accused regarding the same parking issue. She stated that when Asif returned home and saw his neighbor’s two-wheeler blocking the entrance, he asked them to move it. Instead, the neighbors allegedly initiated an abusive exchange, followed by a violent assault with sharp weapons. The police have opened an investigation and are actively seeking the perpetrators.
