The Bollywood landscape is constantly evolving with new faces, and this year is no different. Maddock Films is set to launch a new project, generating buzz around the potential debut of Naomika Saran, granddaughter of Rajesh Khanna. As the daughter of Rinke Khanna and niece of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, Naomika is at the center of this upcoming film. Initially, Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, who has already made his OTT debut, was slated to be a part of the film. However, there has been a casting change.
The film’s casting choices have garnered significant attention, particularly after the release of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies,’ which launched star kids like Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda. Originally, Naomika Saran was expected to star alongside Agastya in her debut film. However, this has been overturned.
Who will star in the film in place of Agastya?
A recent news report indicates that Naomika Saran has been spotted frequently at the Maddock Films office, along with Agastya Nanda. It was believed that both would be part of Dinesh Vijan’s romantic comedy. However, casting has shifted. Now, Vedang Raina is reportedly taking Agastya’s place in the film. He will be taking on the lead role.
This project is envisioned as a romantic entertainer, directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, a prominent figure in the Punjabi film industry. Sidhu is known for films such as ‘Kismat’ and ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’ and is entering the Hindi film industry with a fresh cast. The film is set to be shot in the picturesque locations of Himachal Pradesh.
Who is Naomika Saran?
Naomika Saran is the daughter of Rinke Khanna, the daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. Rinke Khanna married Sameer Saran on February 8, 2003. Anticipation is building for Naomika’s Bollywood debut, with considerable excitement surrounding Rajesh Khanna’s granddaughter’s entry into the industry.
