Boney Kapoor is currently focused on several major film projects. He is working on the sequel to the hit comedy ‘No Entry,’ titled ‘No Entry Mein Entry.’ Furthermore, he has unveiled plans for a series of upcoming films. His upcoming projects include collaborations with his children and a project with a successful actress.
In a recent interview, Kapoor discussed his forthcoming projects, announcing his intention to produce six films. This includes four Hindi films and two Tamil films.
Apart from ‘No Entry Mein Entry,’ Kapoor’s upcoming film slate includes projects with Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Shraddha Kapoor. Shraddha Kapoor’s recent film, ‘Stree 2,’ earned over 800 crore. Kapoor also has multiple scripts ready for production.
Kapoor stated that he cannot start multiple projects simultaneously. He wants his children to be content with their work when they appear in his films, ensuring that it is not solely due to familial pressure. He shared an anecdote involving Anil Kapoor, who initially showed reluctance to appear in ‘Bewafaa’ and ‘Judaai’ but was later persuaded.
Kapoor also discussed his investments in acquiring remake rights, totaling 30-35 crore rupees throughout his career. He revealed that the most expensive remake rights were for a film that hasn’t been produced yet, costing him 3.5 crore rupees. The Hindi rights have been given to Luv Ranjan, and Boney Kapoor holds the all-India rights.
In 2024, Kapoor had previously disclosed his plans for 4-5 Hindi films and 2 Tamil, 1 Telugu, and 1 Kannada film over the next two years. He also indicated his interest in producing films in Punjabi, Kannada, and Bhojpuri.
