The latest installment in the Baaghi franchise, starring Tiger Shroff, has had a weak start at the box office. The film’s performance over its opening weekend has been far from impressive, raising concerns about its overall success. Despite high anticipation, the film has not managed to attract large audiences, resulting in low collections and a disappointing performance.
Baaghi 4 collected ₹12 crore on its opening day. The earnings on the second day were ₹9.25 crore, and on the third day, the film earned ₹10 crore. This brings the total collection for the opening weekend to ₹31.25 crore. With a budget of ₹120 crore, the film needs a substantial boost to be considered successful. The gross collection in India is ₹25.25 crore, while the overseas collection is a modest ₹3.25 crore. The worldwide collection amounts to ₹38.50 crore. The film’s failure to generate significant revenue in the initial days poses a challenge.
Compared to the previous films in the series, Baaghi 4’s performance is particularly disappointing. Baaghi 2, released in 2018, was a major success. It was made with a budget of ₹75 crore and went on to earn a gross collection of ₹211.84 crore in India and ₹45.16 crore overseas, totaling ₹257 crore worldwide. Baaghi 2 had already earned ₹72 crore in its first weekend. The current performance of Baaghi 4 is a significant drop from the success of Baaghi 2.
