‘Thug Life,’ the Tamil film starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam, is experiencing a tough time at the box office. The film, which reunited the celebrated actor-director pair after a long hiatus, has received a mixed reception. Day five collections were approximately Rs 3.25 crore, pushing the total collection to Rs 40.15 crore. The film’s team promoted the movie in Delhi, where Kamal Haasan discussed the significance of an eight-week window before the film’s streaming debut on OTT platforms. He also voiced his opinion on the imposition of Hindi, calling for linguistic diversity and inclusivity across India. The film features a diverse cast, including Trisha, Silambarasan, and others.
