
‘They Call Him OG,’ featuring Pawan Kalyan, has made a significant splash at the box office, setting new benchmarks. The film portrays Ojas Gambheera, a mob boss, seeking retribution, with Emraan Hashmi making his debut in Telugu cinema. The movie had an impressive opening, with its Telugu version earning ₹21 crore. On its opening day, the film saw a substantial increase, collecting ₹63.75 crore across multiple languages. Despite a slight dip on Day 2 to ₹18.75 crore, the collections steadied on Day 3 at ₹18.5 crore, according to early estimates. In its initial four days, the film has amassed about ₹122 crore, with the Telugu version accounting for almost ₹120 crore. The supporting cast includes Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, among others. Pawan Kalyan has expressed that he is nearing completion of his acting projects, potentially reducing his acting work due to political obligations. The film is directed by Sujeeth and produced by D. V. V. Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment.
