Following the completion of their military obligations, BTS is preparing for a comeback. The group reunited in June and subsequently spent several months in Los Angeles, working on new music with collaborations from various acclaimed composers and producers. The highly anticipated comeback album is scheduled for release in the spring of 2026, with a world tour to follow soon after.
The 2026 world tour is projected to span eight months, from May to December, and will include approximately 65 performances. The tour is expected to attract around 4 million fans, with each show anticipated to host over 60,000 attendees.
In addition to the world tour, BTS is planning a two-week global event from September 24 to October 5. This event will showcase four concert films in 2,500 theaters across 65 countries, offering fans worldwide a chance to celebrate the group’s return. Pop-up stores will also be available in various cities.
Simultaneously, J-Hope’s solo concert movie, ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ THE MOVIE,’ will be released in IMAX and theaters globally on November 12 and 15 via Trafalgar Releasing. The movie features his two-day encore concerts at Goyang Stadium in South Korea in June, marking the conclusion of his first solo world tour. The movie includes songs from J-Hope’s solo discography, like his first mixtape ‘Hope World,’ solo album ‘Jack In The Box,’ and special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1,’ alongside popular songs such as “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” “MONA LISA,” and “Killin’ It Girl (Solo Version).” Also included are special versions of BTS hits like “MIC Drop,” “Silver Spoon,” and “Dis-ease,” with behind-the-scenes content and appearances by BTS members Jin and Jungkook, as well as South Korean singer Crush. Currently, BTS is in South Korea, completing the album and finalizing promotional plans. Certain members are also traveling to international events such as Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks.
