The release of Anushka Sharma’s comeback film, ‘Chakda Xpress’, is facing delays, causing frustration among the cast, including actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya. In a recent interview, Bhattacharya discussed his disappointment with the film’s stalled release and his lack of understanding of the reasons behind it. He expressed his deep admiration for the film, having watched it at director Prosit Roy’s place, and praised Anushka Sharma’s performance as the best of her career. Bhattacharya stated his confusion over the situation between Clean Slate Filmz and Netflix. He also highlighted the impact of delays on the many people involved in a film’s production, from technicians to daily wage workers, and expressed his desire for the film to be released immediately. ‘Chakda Xpress’ is a biopic based on the life of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, and its release on Netflix is currently in question due to the production house’s shift.
