
A shocking car explosion near Delhi’s iconic Red Fort on Monday evening has left the city in mourning, with at least eight people confirmed dead and several more injured. The blast occurred around 7 pm at the Subhash Marg traffic signal, igniting a blaze that engulfed multiple vehicles, including six cars and three auto-rickshaws. Firefighting operations were initiated immediately to control the escalating flames. The Home Ministry confirmed the swift response of law enforcement, with specialized teams reaching the site within ten minutes of the incident. Preliminary assessments indicate a significant loss of life and extensive damage to vehicles. The nation’s film industry has responded with an outpouring of grief. Stars like Raveena Tandon and Sonu Sood took to social media to express their condolences and solidarity with the victims’ families. Tandon termed the event ‘horrible,’ while Sood emphasized the need for mutual support and peace. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni prayed for strength for the affected families and urged for the apprehension and punishment of those responsible for the attack.
