The movie, anticipated by fans, collected an estimated Rs 16 crore on its second day, an increase from its opening day earnings of Rs 14.75 crore. The film showcases performances across multiple languages, with Telugu contributing Rs 10 crore, Tamil Rs 4.5 crore, Hindi Rs 0.23 crore, and Kannada Rs 0.02 crore. The overall two-day total is Rs 30.75 crore.
Director Sekhar Kammula admitted his initial hesitation in approaching Dhanush with the film’s narrative. Jim Sarbh’s commitment to learning Telugu for his role underlines the effort invested in the production. The movie is a collaborative project, produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, with Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth contributing as co-producers.
