The BJP Chitrapat Kamgar Aghaadi, representing Indian film industry workers and technicians, has urged the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to prevent the film’s release in India. This action highlights concerns regarding national sentiment and the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, which were exacerbated by the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack.
