Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their daughter Dua’s first birthday, with Deepika sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram to commemorate the occasion. The post included a photo of the cake Deepika baked for Dua, accompanied by the caption: “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!” Numerous fans of the couple posted congratulatory wishes for Dua in the comment section. In November 2024, the couple revealed their daughter’s name as Dua Padukone Singh, with “Dua” meaning “prayer”, signifying that she is the answer to their prayers. On the work front, Deepika Padukone most recently appeared in Singham Again. She will also be featured in an upcoming Telugu film with Allu Arjun and Atlee, where she will reportedly play a warrior. This movie marks her second Telugu project, following her debut in Kalki 2898 AD. Deepika was reportedly slated to be in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial ‘Spirit’ but was replaced by Triptii Dimri. She is also cast in King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. Moreover, Deepika made history by becoming the first Indian actress to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This honour is scheduled for 2026, in the Motion Pictures category.
