Production on ‘Emily in Paris’ season five has been impacted by the passing of Assistant Director Diego Borella. The incident occurred while the crew was on location in Italy, readying for the final scene. Borella, 47, suffered a heart attack and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. The event took place inside Hotel Danieli in Venice. The cast includes Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and more. Creator Darren Star has indicated that the new season will focus on two cities: Rome and Paris. Bryan Greenberg, Michèle Laroque, and Minnie Driver will also join the cast.
