Recent events surrounding the wedding of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and singer Palash Muchhal have become a major news focus. The couple’s wedding plans were put on hold following a serious health emergency involving Smriti’s father, who became critically ill during the celebrations. This unfortunate turn of events fueled widespread rumors and online gossip, leading to unfair accusations directed at Palash Muchhal.
Following these developments, Palash was admitted to a Mumbai hospital, reportedly due to severe exhaustion. The situation appeared to worsen when Smriti and her family members deleted all traces of wedding content from their social media. Stepping forward to support Palash, his cousin Neeti Tak issued a plea on social media. She highlighted Palash’s critical state and cautioned against hasty judgments, stating, “You all should not judge him without knowing the truth… Pray for him.”
Palash’s sister, Palak Muchhal, had previously requested privacy for both families, explaining that the wedding was postponed because of Smriti’s father’s health condition. The wedding, initially slated for November 23rd, saw its pre-wedding functions, including the haldi and sangeet ceremonies, go viral. The couple had also received a congratulatory letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi prior to the wedding.
