
Lucknow hosted a grand launch event for ‘Dada Kishan Ki Jai,’ a new patriotic anthem from the upcoming war film ‘120 Bahadur,’ on Tuesday. The ceremony attracted thousands of fans, underscoring the nation’s deep respect for its heroes.
Actor Farhan Akhtar, singer Sukhwinder Singh, and Narpat Singh, son of the late Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, were key attendees. The event also provided a platform to honor the actors who will portray the soldiers of Charlie Company, as well as the two surviving veterans of the Battle of Rezang La, Subedar Honorary Captain Ram Chander Yadav Ji and Havildar Nihal Singh Ji, SM. The presence of the martyrs’ families added a deeply emotional layer to the proceedings.
This stirring tribute, ‘Dada Kishan Ki Jai,’ is a collaborative masterpiece, with music and production by Salim-Sulaiman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar. Sukhwinder Singh delivers a powerful vocal performance that amplifies the song’s patriotic message.
The film ‘120 Bahadur’ revisits the bravery displayed during the Battle of Rezang La in 1962. Farhan Akhtar portrays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the decorated leader of the 13 Kumaon Regiment. The highly anticipated film is scheduled for release on November 21.
