Hina Khan has voiced her support for Mrunal Thakur after Thakur faced criticism for comments made about Bipasha Basu. The controversy arose from a resurfaced video in which Mrunal Thakur was seen body-shaming Bipasha Basu. Subsequently, Mrunal Thakur issued a public apology. Hina Khan shared her perspective on her Instagram stories, stating, “Wisdom comes from experience. Our social skills, communication and understanding grow over time. We all make mistakes, especially when we are young.” She added, “I understand Mrunal’s point of view; I too, have made such foolish mistakes in the past. We undergo trials without having the skill set to cope. But with time, we grow; we become kind, compassionate and lift each other. We learn to fix each other’s crowns.” Hina Khan noted that both Mrunal and Bipasha Basu have had inspiring careers in Bollywood. “Both are amazing women and Bipasha is an inspiration to the whole community. I am so happy and proud that Mrunal accepted the mistake she made in the past,” she stated.
