
The highly anticipated anime film ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ has officially launched in India, immediately sparking a frenzy among fans. The movie presents a new and epic battle as Tanjiro, Hashiras, and the Demon Slayer Corps are unexpectedly transported to the Infinity Castle by Muzan. The film is accessible to a wide audience in India, released in Japanese, English, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. Continuing its strong performance, the film generated substantial revenue on its second day. On its second day, the film grossed around Rs 13 crore across India, encompassing all languages. This brings the total collection to Rs 26 crore. On its opening day, ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle’ earned Rs 13 crore. The language-wise breakdown of earnings is: Rs 7.5 crore in Japanese, Rs 2.4 crore in English, Rs 2.75 crore in Hindi, Rs 0.2 crore in Telugu, and Rs 0.15 crore in Tamil. Due to overwhelming demand, theaters are scheduling early morning shows of ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle’. In Pune, Inox Megaplex has added a 5:15 am show, followed by Cinepolis Seawoods, Navi Mumbai, at 5:20 am. In Delhi, PVR Vegas Dwarka and Inox Vishal Mall have added 6:40 am shows. Furthermore, Bengaluru’s PVR Nexus, Inox Mantri Square, and Inox Galleria Mall have incorporated 6:30 am shows. The Indian release of the film has no cuts and has a U/A 13+ rating, suitable for audiences aged 13 and above. The narrative of the Infinity Castle Arc begins at the conclusion of the Hashira Training Arc, which showcased different Hashiras and their unique abilities in different episodes. Tanjiro trained with Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, Obanai Iguro, the Serpent Hashira to enhance his strength for the battles to come. The film also provides insight into Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tragically, Muzan kills Kagaya and his wife, setting the stage for the upcoming ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc’.
