Details of Travis Kelce’s proposal to Taylor Swift are revealed by his father, Ed Kelce, who shared insights into the romantic moment. Ed stated that the proposal occurred approximately two weeks ago. Contrary to early reports, the proposal didn’t happen in a garden in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, but in Travis’s backyard in Leawood, Kansas. Ed was informed soon after the proposal via a phone call from the newly engaged couple during an Eagles practice. Ed described the moment: “He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘Let’s go out and have a glass of wine,’ … They got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful.” Ed mentioned that Travis had contemplated delaying the proposal, perhaps for a more elaborate setting, but Ed encouraged him to propose at the right time. The families were quickly informed via FaceTime. The couple’s happiness was visible in the images taken on their special day. Travis gifted Taylor a custom engagement ring, featuring an old mine brilliant-cut diamond, set in a traditional gold bezel, created by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine.
