The recent theatrical releases of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ have drawn significant attention. The films, belonging to different genres, feature notable casts. Rishab Shetty leads and directs ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ while Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor star in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.’
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ amassed Rs 61.5 crore on its fourth day, with Rs 23.5 crore from the Hindi belt. The movie has grossed a total of Rs 223.75 crore in just four days.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ collected Rs 7.75 crore on its fourth day, bringing its overall earnings to Rs 30 crore. It faces stiff competition from ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ which has had a strong performance in the Hindi market.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. The cast includes Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, and it is the second film collaboration between Varun and Janhvi.
Rishab Shetty stars as Berme in ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ supported by Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, and Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara. The cinematography is by Arvind S. Kashyap, with music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. Vijay Kiragandur produces the film under the Hombale Films banner.
