After a successful year in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan has kept fans waiting for details about his next film. Now, he’s provided an update on ‘King’, indicating that filming is set to recommence soon. The actor shared the news during an interactive session on X, mentioning the completion of some initial shoots and the upcoming focus on leg shots. Khan expressed his desire for a quick finish, acknowledging the work of director Siddharth Anand. The film reportedly encountered delays due to an injury on set, leading to speculation about a 2027 release, instead of the initially planned 2026 date. The decision reflects a cautious approach, given the film’s heavy action sequences and Khan’s health. ‘King’ is expected to feature a notable ensemble cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
