Madhai Yaani Kootam, the debut film of the late director Vikram Sugumaran, can now be streamed on Zee5. This Tamil thriller, featuring Kathir and Vela Ramamoorthy, was released in theaters on December 25, 2013. The movie was a box office success. The cast also included Kalaiyarasan, V. Jayaprakash, Vee Jenish, Kaali Venkat, and P. Virumandi. G. V. Prakash Kumar, N. P. K. S. Logu, and Go. Venkatesh produced the film under GV Prakash Kumar Productions. Sugumaran, also known for directing Raavan Kootam, passed away from a heart attack on June 2, 2025, at the age of 47.
