Actress Mehreen Pirzada has voiced strong condemnation against IndiGo Airlines for its recent spate of flight cancellations and operational mismanagement. Pirzada shared her personal ordeal, where her flight was cancelled at the last minute after being displayed as on time on the IndiGo app. This misleading information, she argued, is a form of ‘negligence’ and not a simple error. Passengers have reportedly been stranded for days due to such disruptions. ‘This is absolutely unacceptable,’ Pirzada stated emphatically, urging IndiGo to ‘own up, explain what’s happening, and compensate the people you’ve stranded.’ She also pointed out that new DGCA regulations should have prompted better schedule management.
