
Netflix’s fantasy series ‘The Sandman’ is gearing up for its second and final season, much to the anticipation of fans. The trailer for the upcoming season has been released, offering a glimpse into the grand conclusion.
The series revolves around Morpheus, the personification of dreams and one of the seven Endless beings. Captured in a ritual in 1916, he was held captive for over 106 years. Upon his escape, he sets out to restore order to his realm, the Dreaming.
The cast features Tom Sturridge as the lead, alongside Gwendoline Christie, Boyd Holbrook, and a talented ensemble. New faces include Ruairi O’Connor, Freddie Fox, and more.
Showrunner Allan Heinberg stated that the series was focused on Dream’s story and there was enough material to conclude with one more season. The team is thankful to Netflix for the support in creating a faithful adaptation that would please both long-time readers and fans of the show.
‘The Sandman’ Season 2 will be released in two parts, with the first volume arriving on July 3, 2025, and the second on July 24.
