A special ‘My Stamp’ initiative has been launched to honor the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of soldiers involved in the Battle of Rezang La. This commemoration is closely linked to the upcoming war epic, ‘120 Bahadur,’ which recounts the historic events. Actor Farhan Akhtar, a prominent face in the film, took to social media to announce the launch, expressing deep gratitude for the postal department’s tribute. The Defence Minister was present at the New Delhi inauguration, highlighting the national importance of remembering such acts of valor. The stamp is dedicated to the soldiers of the 13th Battalion, Kumaon Regiment, who fought valiantly at Rezang La in Ladakh. This event serves as a powerful reminder of their indomitable spirit, especially as the 63rd anniversary of the battle approaches. ‘120 Bahadur’ aims to capture the essence of this heroic stand, led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, portrayed by Akhtar. The film is slated for release on November 21, 2025.
