Expressing deep disappointment, actor Nikitin Dheer has publicly criticized the paparazzi for their overzealous and insensitive coverage of Bollywood personalities, citing recent events involving Dharmendra and Jeetendra. Having recently experienced personal loss with his father Pankaj Dheer’s passing, Dheer understands the emotional toll such times take. He described his encounters with the paparazzi as feeling akin to being surrounded by ‘vultures,’ stripping away any sense of human interaction. Dheer condemned the way Jeetendra was filmed when he seemed vulnerable, deeming it a gross misuse of his privacy for digital gains. He extended this critique to the current media attention on Dharmendra’s health, questioning if likes and views have overshadowed basic human empathy. Dheer implored the media to show more sensitivity and understanding during personal hardships, urging them to cease exploiting people’s grief for content. He lamented the perceived erosion of humanity in the pursuit of sensationalism.
