Jyoti claimed that she had been trying to discuss family and political matters with her husband for months. She lamented the lack of response to her calls and messages, accusing him and his associates of ignoring her attempts to communicate.
She described her efforts to meet him, including a trip to Lucknow and a visit to Dehri during the Chhath festival. However, she was denied these opportunities, with explanations provided about his commitments in Lucknow. Jyoti also mentioned that her father’s efforts to meet Pawan Singh were also unsuccessful.
She expressed her pain and confusion, questioning what wrong she had committed to deserve such treatment. She accused Pawan Singh of playing with her parents’ honor and misleading her. She feels trapped, with self-immolation being the only option, but she also believes that doing so would only result in further questions being raised against her and her parents.
Jyoti emphasized her commitment to her marriage, stating that she had always fulfilled her duties. She requested that, if Pawan Singh no longer considers her his wife, he should at least show some human compassion and stand by her.
