Prabhas, known for his pan-Indian appeal, has a devoted following throughout the country. While his stardom remains undeniable, his films following ‘Baahubali’ haven’t consistently replicated its success; some have even been disappointments. Nevertheless, excitement is building for his next venture, ‘The Raja Saab.’ Despite this, the project faces challenges in securing an OTT deal. Sources confirm that no OTT platform has agreed to the producers’ financial demands, which reportedly amount to 90 crore rupees. An anonymous insider from a major OTT platform pointed out that such a large sum is only feasible for a guaranteed success. Given Prabhas’ recent filmography outside of ‘Baahubali,’ and his limited screen time in ‘Kalki,’ the asking price seems high. The producers now have two choices: lower their price or wait for the film’s release, a move that carries the risk of diminishing their leverage if the film underperforms.
