
In a ceremony held in Jaipur on August 18, Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan was named Miss Universe India 2025. Rhea Singha, the previous titleholder, crowned Manika, officially sending her to the 74th Miss Universe competition in Thailand this November. Manika, a native of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, currently resides in Delhi and is a final year student studying Political Science and Economics. Beyond her academic pursuits, Manika is a trained classical dancer and painter, with accolades from the Lalit Kala Academy and JJ School of Arts. She has also represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, organized under the Ministry of External Affairs. Her commitment to social causes is demonstrated through Neuronova, her initiative aimed at reshaping viewpoints on neurodivergence and fostering a more inclusive society.
