Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal is highly anticipated. The movie is expected to have several large sequences. Kapoor has two big films scheduled to release next year, namely ‘Love and War’ and ‘Ramayana Part 1.’ News emerged that the makers may launch a promotional material around Kapoor’s birthday. In parallel, preparations for a crucial segment of the film are underway in Madhya Pradesh.
Recent reports suggest that the next phase of filming will be conducted in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, previously known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, originally a British cantonment established by John Malcolm in 1818.
‘Love and War’ will have a 15-day shooting schedule in Mhow, using the historical British Army cantonment as its backdrop. The filming will require Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal to be present. The team is currently in the process of securing the necessary permissions.
Once the work in Madhya Pradesh is done, the team will move to Europe in October, specifically to Italy, for shooting. The filmmakers intend to finish the shooting before the end of 2025. The film ‘Love and War’ is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, the same day as Yash’s ‘Toxic.’ Initial reports had indicated that either Ranbir or Vicky would be portraying a character in the British Army, with scenes featuring them in a conflict, some of which have already been filmed.
